Legal Officer

1. Legal advisory services (75%)
Advise daily and support business team and corporate function on operating current business of SGS, including advise on enterprise, commercial, civil, labor matters, intellectual property rights, changes in law, general corporate litigation, dispute management and resolution.
Provide legal analysis for new services or new regulations that impact SGS' business.
Localize, draft, review, and update, translate terms and conditions, form agreements, templates, all kinds of commercial contracts and various forms of agreements or legal documentations in both Vietnam and English.
Liaise and correspond with Group Legal and external counsels in dealing with related legal matters.
2. Data Privacy (15%)
Supporting Legal Manager on data privacy strategy of SGS, including:
Review agreements for the transfer and processing of personal data among various entities.
Advise product and business groups across the company regarding privacy and security requirements.
Localize and maintain internal practices/procedure to support SGS' privacy initiatives.
Provide project support to business units and corporate function on privacy and data protection issues.
Support regulatory investigations and responses.
3. Other assignments by Legal Manager (10%)
Support Legal Manager to develop and deliver legal related training programs to business, corporate functions.
Work on the review and develop legal related policies and guideline.
Complete licensing for regulated services at local and ministerial licensing authorities.
Other assignments by Legal Manager from time to time.
2 years minimum experience in a paralegal, or legal team or law firm.
Bachelor's degree in law.
Knowledge of laws and regulations regarding inspection, testing, certification, data privacy and cybersecurity laws in Vietnam is an advantage.
Negotiating, writing and effective communication in English & Vietnamese.
