Lab Technician

General information: Support cosmetic product development, sample preparation, routine laboratory testing, GCMS analysis support, stability monitoring, and documentation in accordance with internal procedures, GMP, and customer requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare lab samples, trial batches, and product prototypes according to approved formulas.

• Conduct basic tests such as appearance, colour, odour, pH, viscosity, specific gravity, and weight checks.

• Support GCMS sample preparation and basic analysis for cosmetic, fragrance, candle, and related samples.

• Prepare and monitor stability and compatibility samples under required test conditions.

• Record test results accurately and maintain laboratory documents and sample records.

• Support evaluation of raw materials, fragrances, packaging, and finished products.

• Assist in investigating product issues such as separation, colour change, odour change, viscosity change, or packaging interaction.

• Maintain cleanliness, organization, and proper use of laboratory tools and equipment.

• Follow GMP, hygiene, safety, and PPE requirements at all times.

Yêu cầu công việc

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Cosmetic Science, Chemical Engineering, Pharmacy, Biotechnology, or a related field.

• Experience in cosmetics, personal care, fragrance, candles, GCMS analysis, or laboratory work is preferred.

• Basic knowledge of cosmetic testing, formulation, stability testing, GMP, and general laboratory analysis.

• Able to follow technical instructions accurately, with good attention to detail and documentation skills.

• Basic computer skills and English reading ability for formulas, SDS, COA, GCMS reports, and technical documents.
