Junior Industrial Software Engineer and Developer

Tasks & Duties
Contribute to production software through tooling, automation, prototyping, and rapid iteration
Design, build, and maintain an industrial MES software architecture using C#, Winforms, SQL and API interfaces.
Build and improve developer experience, internal observability, diagnostics, and operational tooling.
Develop practical solutions in Python, C#, SQL, and API integrations.
Create and validate proof-of-concepts and experimental implementations with concrete, usable deliverables.
Own selected technical domains, with defined scope and measurable outcomes.
Provide third-level support for all products under scope, including log analysis, issue reproduction, bug investigation, and collaboration on corrective fixes.
Challenge existing conventions constructively, proposing simpler, faster, or more effective approaches.

Network / Relations

Group Engineering.
Collaborates with internal MES and third-party integration teams.
Collaborates with the Industrial Data Architect / Developer.
Interfaces with production operations, application users, and support teams.
Responsibilities / Accountabilities
Increase execution capacity and innovation velocity.
Own assigned technical domains with real accountability.
Build and maintain tooling, automation, and observability components.
Contribute to production support by investigating incidents, reproducing defects, and validating corrections.
Maintain high personal standards for code quality, version control discipline, and technical documentation.
Education
Bachelor's degree, technical diploma, or equivalent practical experience in software engineering, information systems, or a related technical discipline.
Professional Experience
1–3 years of professional experience, or demonstrable practical experience through internships, academic projects, or personal initiatives.
Hands-on experience with at least some of: Python, C#, SQL, REST APIs, Git.
Exposure to software support, debugging, or test automation.
Personal or side projects demonstrating curiosity and self-driven learning.
Exposure to industrial, manufacturing, or operational software environments.
Expertise
Software development fundamentals and clean coding practices.
Scripting, automation, and developer tooling.
SQL and relational data handling.
REST API consumption and integration.
Git-based development and branching workflows.
Observability, logging, diagnostics, and issue reproduction.
Python and/or C# development.
Time-series databases or operational data storage concepts.
MQTT or event-driven messaging concepts          .
Container development environments.
Familiarity with cloud platforms or hybrid cloud/edge deployment patterns
Dashboard or data visualization tooling.
Personality
Adaptable, and intellectually curious.
Proactive and self-directed.
Learns fast, iterates quickly, and is not discouraged by ambiguity.
Comfortable challenging assumptions and proposing unconventional approaches.
Mature enough to carry real technical responsibility.
