Production Supervisor

1.      Daily Production management:
a.      Production planning execution: Receive production orders from the Planning department, organize and urge workers in the workshops to achieve the exact output and schedule during the shift.
b.      Manage workforce allocation: Arrange and allocate human resources reasonably for each stage based on workers' capabilities and actual attendance. Flexibly solve sudden personnel shortages to avoid interrupting the production line.
c.      Monitor the packaging process for finished goods and ensure all deliveries are executed according to schedule.
2.      Production Scheduling
a.      Work order, prioritization: Closely monitor urgent orders, allocate processing priorities for each line/pressing machine to ensure the lead time.
b.      Capacity balancing: Evaluate the capacity of the current machinery system and human resources to regulate the workflow between stages.
3.      Resolve daily operational issues:
a.      Operational problem solving: Be directly present at the site to quickly handle arising incidents (e.g., mold defects, machine jams, substandard materials, etc.). Responsible for initially analyzing causes and handling within the scope of authority.
b.    Escalate issues:
Promptly report to the Technical Director or coordinate with the Maintenance and if the incident is serious and beyond the handling capacity of the production shift.
4. Measure/Track KPIs
a.    OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness): Monitor uptime and downtime to optimize equipment efficiency.
b.    Productivity & Efficiency: Record actual output against the target, evaluate the working efficiency of each team/individual.
c.    Scrap rate: Strictly control the amount of NG (Not Good) goods, compile statistics on the daily scrap rate of each item code, and find the causes of loss.
d.    Labor utilization: Supervise the effective working time of employees, limiting wasted time and redundant operations.
5. Team management:
a.    Training plan: Instruct standard operating procedures (SOP) for new workers. Update and ensure workers clearly understand the machine-operator matrices as well as safety regulations.
b.    Performance review: Monitor the attitude, demeanor, and work efficiency of frontline workers as a basis for periodic evaluation.
6. Disciplinary actions:
Correct, remind, and implement disciplinary measures against individuals who violate company rules, 5S regulations, occupational safety (Safety glasses, gloves...), or production processes.
7. Continuous improvement:
-        Promote Lean Manufacturing activities on the shop floor. Encourage employees to come up with initiatives and improvement proposals to minimize waste, improve the working environment, and increase productivity.
8. Quality support on production related topics
-        Coordinate closely with the QA/QC department to isolate defective products.
-        Directly remind and adjust workers' operations right on the line when detecting risks that may lead to product quality defects.
-        Participate in implementing corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) related to the machinery operation process.
Education level: Graduate Faculty of Engineering, Mechanical, Industrial
Minimum 2 years of experience in the industrial or manufacturing sector, especially within the rubber industry and minimum 5 years of managerial experience
Proficient in production machinery, 5S, Lean Manufacturing, and basic quality control standards.
Competencies/skills: Handling people, leadership skills, handle pressure, hardworking
Knowledge of industry standards such as IATF 16949, GMP, ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 14001:2026.
Good English in all 4 skills (listening, speaking, reading, and writing)
