IT System Administrator Leader

Our client is a leading company specialized in financial services, and they are looking for a qualified candidate to join their firm. 

• Deploy and maintain IT infrastructure, ensuring seamless system setup and support.
• Monitor systems for performance issues and proactively mitigate potential disruptions.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware, server, and infrastructure-related incidents.
• Implement robust security protocols to protect enterprise systems and 
• Integrate third-party technologies into existing infrastructure for enhanced functionality.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation for system architecture, processes, and configurations. 
• Collaborate with cross-departmental teams including development, QA, and business operations to ensure infrastructure alignment with organizational goals.

Requirements: 

• degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Telecommunications, or equivalent.
• International certifications in system administration, security, or networking are highly desirable. 
• Technical Expertise: 5+ years of experience in system administration, preferably within banking, finance, insurance, or securities environments. 
• In-depth knowledge of VMware virtualization platforms. 
• Proficiency in Linux systems, Windows servers, and core IT services.
• Hands-on experience managing Nginx and Proxy services. 
• Familiarity with system design best practices and backup infrastructure. 
• Experience with monitoring tools (Zabbix, SolarWinds) and log analytics platforms (ELK, Grafana, Prometheus, Splunk). 
• Understanding of networking, firewall, and security fundamentals is a plus. Experience with configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible, Chef, Puppet). 
• Scripting proficiency in Bash, Python, or PowerShell. 
• Exposure to Docker and Kubernetes is advantageous. 
• Behavioral Skills: Curious and tech-savvy with the ability to learn and apply new technologies quickly. 
• Effective under pressure, with a proactive and solution-driven attitude. 
• Strong collaboration and interpersonal skills. 
• English proficiency in reading technical documentation; conversational skills are a plus.
