IT Plant Support

Job Purpose

IT Plant Support is responsible for over all day to day operation to make sure IT system is working and no downtime impacts to manufacturing operation:

• First technical support for all application systems and software components

• Troubleshoot and investigate the hardware, software and system incident

• Participate and provide support to projects in assigned from supervisor

This role ensures smooth day-to-day operations by resolving user issues, escalating complex problems, and maintaining system stability across production and logistics environments.

Key Tasks

• Key contact point all user at IPV for IT hardware and sofware issue

• Supporting day-to-day operation incident and change

• Maintaining user support and IT services

• Troubleshoot, diagnosing and solving hardware or software faults

• Installing and configuring computer hardware, software, systems, networks, printers and IT equipment

• First Tier Application support such as Microsoft Office Suite, SAP, K2 Workflow, BI, Web Application, ASRS, etc.

• Respond to user inquiries, troubleshoot issues, and ensure timely resolution or escalation.

• Maintaining user support, IT services and IT Asset.

• Conduct basic training sessions for new users or system updates.

• Handle multi-tasks and adapt to changing situations, ad-hoc projects and varying workloads to accommodate of the business

• Work closely with manufacturing, warehouse, and logistics teams to understand operational needs.

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.

• 1–3 years of experience in IT support, preferably in a manufacturing or warehouse environment.

• Knowledge about the computer hardware & software, including the Microsoft Office Suite, SAP, Manufacturing application, and ASRS Warehouse Application.

• Good communication skills, both verbal as well as written

• Good problem-solving, analytic, and research skills.

• Ability to learn new software systems, policies, and hardware quickly.

• Team-oriented individual with the ability to work independently.

• Understanding of manufacturing, warehouse workflows and basic project management is a plus
