IT Operations Engineer

Act as the primary on-site IT support for the Vietnam R&D office, ensuring stable operation of office and production IT infrastructure.

Provide desktop support for Windows/macOS devices, troubleshoot hardware and software issues, and manage PC deployment, backup, and recovery.

Manage the full lifecycle of IT assets, including laptops, desktops, peripherals, and onboarding/offboarding equipment.

Maintain office network infrastructure, including LAN/WAN, Wi-Fi, VPN, switches, and basic network troubleshooting.

Plan and implement office IT infrastructure projects, including structured cabling, access control, CCTV, and other low-voltage systems.

Support the maintenance of local servers and IT infrastructure, and assist the headquarters infrastructure team with virtualization, storage, backup, and system deployment.

Respond to and resolve IT service requests through the service desk in accordance with SLA requirements, providing timely on-site support to employees.

Implement global IT standards, policies, and SOPs, and collaborate with the Information Security team to address vulnerabilities and ensure compliance.

Support regional and headquarters IT projects, and work closely with local HR, Administration, Procurement, and other business functions to deliver reliable IT services.

Assist other Southeast Asia offices with IT support when required.

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.

3+ years of experience in IT operations, IT support, or infrastructure administration.

Experience supporting office IT environments; manufacturing or R&D environment experience is preferred.

Proficient in Windows/macOS administration and troubleshooting, enterprise networking, server management, virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V), and IT service management tools.

Familiar with Active Directory, Microsoft 365, VPN, network devices, structured cabling, and endpoint management.

Experience managing IT assets, end-user support, and office infrastructure projects.

Fluent English for daily communication with headquarters; reading skills for technical documentation.

Strong problem-solving skills, customer-oriented mindset, effective communication, and the ability to handle urgent technical issues independently.

Preferred: ITIL, CCNA/CCNP, CompTIA A+, Microsoft or VMware certifications.
