Electronics Service Technician

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Core duties and responsibilities include the following:
·       Provide technical service support to customers via telephone, onsite visits, and other communication channels.
·       Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve electrical and electronic issues related to: o   Frequency inverters o   Controllers o   3-phase asynchronous motors o   Synchronous motors
·       Perform onsite and remote technical support activities.
·       Repair and maintain inverters, controllers, motors, and related electronic equipment within the workshop.
·       Identify technical problems and document solutions for future reference and continuous improvement.
·       Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through timely and effective support.
·       Coordinate with internal departments to ensure prompt resolution of customer issues.
·       Maintain clear and professional communication with customers and team members.
·       Stay updated with the latest technologies and advancements in automation, electronics, and drive systems.
·       Comply with company policies, safety procedures, and quality standards during all service activities.
·       Diploma, college degree or higher qualification in Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, Automation Control Engineering, or related field.
·       Minimum 2–3 years of onsite service experience in the automation industry.
·       Good knowledge of: o   Frequency inverters o   Servo motors o   Gear motors o   Industrial automation applications
·       Experience in repairing electronic circuit boards is an advantage.
·       Knowledge of PLC systems is preferred.
·       Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with a willingness to learn.
·       Ability to work independently and travel regionally when required.
·       Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
·       Good command of written and spoken English
