Documentation handling for US-bound shipments
• Issue and verify Bill of Lading (MBL/HBL), Sea Waybill, Telex Release, and Express Release as per customer requirements.
• Prepare and submit Booking Confirmation, Shipping Instruction (SI), and VGM to carriers/co-loaders before cut-off.
• Issue Debit Notes, Credit Notes, and Invoices to customers and overseas agents.
• Prepare full document sets: Commercial Invoice, Packing List, C/O (Form B, ICC, etc.), CSC, MSDS upon request.
• Archive and manage shipping documents in compliance with company and customs regulations.
AMS / ISF / AES filing – Compliance with US Customs (CBP)
• File AMS (Automated Manifest System) for US-bound shipments – ensure submission at least 48 hours before vessel departure (48-Hour Rule).
• Support/file ISF 10+2 (Importer Security Filing) – submit at least 48 hours before cargo is loaded onto the vessel at the port of origin.
• Coordinate with US agents to verify HS Code, Shipper/Consignee, FIRMS code, SCAC code, and Bond number before transmitting AMS/ISF.
• Monitor and resolve Hold cases (CBP Hold, CET Hold, FDA Hold, USDA Hold), Manifest Discrepancy, and No-Bond issues.
• Stay updated and ensure compliance with new regulations from CBP, FMC, and FDA related to US imports.
Coordination & Customer Service
• Liaise with carriers, co-loaders, and US destination agents to track sailing schedules, ETD/ETA, and transshipment.
• Send pre-alerts (HBL, MBL, Invoice, Packing List, AMS/ISF copy) to US agents immediately after vessel departure.
• Advise customers on procedures, documentation, and US lane surcharges (AMS, ISF, ENS, BAF, LSS, Chassis, Pier Pass, PSS, etc.).
• Handle claims and document amendments (B/L Amendment, AMS Amendment) – track penalty fees if any.
Education:Yêu cầu công việc Education: • Candidates must hold a College or University degree in Foreign Trade, Logistics, Transport Economics, Import-Export, or other related fields. Experience: • A minimum of 2 to 3 years of documentation experience at a forwarder or NVOCC is required, with prior experience handling the US Lane being strongly preferred. Professional Knowledge: • Candidates should have a solid understanding of sea and air export procedures to the US. They are expected to be familiar with AMS, ISF 10+2, the 48-Hour Rule, CBP, FMC, Incoterms 2020, and UCP 600. Languages: • Good English communication and email writing skills (equivalent to TOEIC 600+ or higher) are required for direct working contact with US agents. Computer Skills: • Candidates must be proficient in MS Office, particularly Excel and Outlook. Hands-on experience with AMS/ISF filing software such as CargoWise, Descartes, or INTTRA is considered a strong advantage. Soft Skills: • Candidates need to be detail-oriented, careful, and capable of multitasking under pressure. Strong communication and coordination skills are essential, along with a willingness to work in the US time zone when required.Quyền lợi
