Deputy Director/ Manager – Business Development & International Cooperation Division

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Support the Department Manager in managing and implementing the following activities:

• Participate in developing business strategies, investment plans, business models, and investment feasibility analyses for projects aligned with the Group's strategic development direction.

• Conduct market research and monitor investment environments, government policies, market trends, customers, consultants, investors, and other stakeholders to identify new business and investment opportunities.

• Collaborate with relevant business units throughout the project development process, including project surveys, feasibility studies, investment evaluation, project appraisal, investment scale recommendations, investment phasing, and product positioning.

• Support the Department Manager in preparing negotiation strategies and conducting detailed discussions with international partners regarding cooperation, joint ventures, strategic alliances, including but not limited to:

o Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs)

o Business Cooperation Contracts (BCCs)

o Joint Venture Agreements

o Joint Venture Company Charters

o Other project cooperation documents

• Coordinate with relevant departments to prepare documentation, analyses, and supporting materials for negotiations and execution of joint venture agreements, business cooperation contracts, and other partnership agreements with international partners.

• Prepare plans, documentation, and necessary materials during project cooperation implementation to facilitate the execution of business cooperation agreements or project transfer agreements.

2. Support the Department Manager in project risk management for projects under the Department's responsibility.

3. Train, coach, evaluate, and develop subordinate staff.

4. Monitor project implementation progress and ensure cooperation/business commitments with partners are fulfilled while coordinating with relevant departments across the Group.

5. Develop, update, and maintain departmental procedures, regulations, and work guidelines.

6. Prepare regular, periodic, and ad hoc reports on departmental activities as requested by the Department Manager and authorized management.

7. Perform other duties assigned by management.

Education

• Bachelor's degree or above.

Preferred Majors:

• Law

• International Business

• Economics

• International Relations

Certification

• English language certification (preferred).

Experience

• Minimum 1 year in a similar managerial/supervisory role.

• At least 4 years of experience in business development, project development, market research, market expansion, or partnership development.

• Candidates with prior experience in:

o Big 4 consulting/advisory firms, or

o New project development within the retail or hospitality industries

will be highly preferred.

• Sound understanding of economics, business management, domestic and international commercial law, and industries relevant to the Group's business as well as emerging business sectors.

• Good knowledge of international cooperation, business models, investment principles, and market development.

• Understanding of the Group's business operations, internal procedures, and regulations.
