Customer Service (Freight Forwarding)

Key Responsibilities – Customer Service / Freight Forwarding

Export: mainly.

• Handle daily ocean/ air export shipments when receiving the new booking from Sales/ US or oversea offices.

• Informed nomination parties/Sales for approval

• check with Pricing for suitable prices/services

• booking with approved carriers/coloaders

• re-book/change book/ revise bkgs all kinds

• Input shipment reports & Open files in systems

• Input buying & selling rates into systems

• Daily AMS review with OPS teammates

• Equipment Pick up/ Drop off & Shipper LCC deal.

• Push Carriers for Debits - all kinds & recheck with pricing for the exactness

• Send Statement (if any) to Agents/ Related Parties

• Closing file and Pass to Accountant for AP & AR

Import:
- If any.

• Checking document sent by Overseas /Agent & send to consignee for checking.

• Submit E-manifest within deadline from carrier

• Process payment request to ACC team to get EDO on time

• Release EDO and handling all problem related to customer

• Update milestones status to oversea or agent.

• Debit local charge and/or freight charge to consignee – if any.

Yêu cầu công việc

• At least 2 – 5 years of experience in freight forwarding, customer service in global OR American companies.

• Good command of English.

• Experience in handling export and import shipments (sea and air freight) in U.S. trade lanes, with priority for candidates with CargoWise system experience and a background in Asian or U.S. multinational corporations.
