You’ll Do


We are looking for a CTO to lead the system architecture, technical execution, and performance optimization of our application. This role focuses on ensuring scalability, speed, and reliability while leveraging modern technologies to support product growth and business efficiency.

 

1.  Technology Strategy & Architecture

  • Formulate a long-term technology strategy that directly enables the company’s product vision and expansion goals.
  • Architect scalable, stable, and high-performance system designs to support business growth.
  • Standardize the tech stack and infrastructure platforms to ensure consistency across development stages.
  • Orchestrate the technical roadmap to guarantee sustainable system evolution and timely delivery.
  • Audit and mitigate technical debt to maintain code quality and long-term system health.


2. Product Delivery Enablement

  • Appraise technical feasibility and generate resource estimations for all product requirements.
  • Synchronize with Product Managers to align technology execution with product objectives.
  • Enforce Agile/Scrum methodologies to streamline development processes.
  • Deploy and manage CI/CD systems to facilitate automated and stable software releases.
  • Validate that all releases adhere to defined scope and quality benchmarks.


3.  System Performance, Data & Security

  • Ensure system stability with high uptime, performance, and reliability metrics.
  • Build and operate monitoring, alerting systems, and effective incident response processes.
  • Design and develop data infrastructure to support data collection, processing, and analysis.
  • Ensure technical data accuracy and availability for analysis and decision-making.
  • Ensure compliance with security standards and relevant legal regulations (Shopify regulation)


4. Cost & Infrastructure Optimization

  • Manage and optimize infrastructure costs to ensure operational efficiency.
  • Maintain a balance between cost, performance, and system scalability.
  • Support cross-functional teams in efficiently delivering products and features.
  • Minimize technical bottlenecks that impact time-to-market.
  • Ensure the system can scale effectively to support business growth.

5. Engineering Leadership

  • Build an Engineering team structure aligned with product development needs and organizational scale.
  • Recruit, train, and develop engineering talent to improve team performance.
  • Establish and maintain standards for code quality and engineering best practices.
  • Manage and improve team performance through productivity and product quality metrics.
  • Foster an Engineering culture centered on ownership, quality, and continuous improvement.

Yêu cầu ứng viên

1. Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.

 

2. Experience:

  • Minimum 5+ years in software engineering, with at least 3–5 years in a technical leadership role (CTO, Technical Manager, Tech Lead, or similar).
  • Proven experience designing and scaling systems in product or e-commerce environments is highly preferred.

3. Technical Expertise:

  • Strong understanding of system architecture, scalability, and performance optimization.
  • Solid knowledge of software development life cycle (SDLC) and modern engineering practices.
  • Proficient in or familiar with tech stack: Golang, React, Vue, Shopify Liquid, AWS, Vercel.
  • Strong experience with database design, API optimization, and system performance tuning.
  • Good understanding of cybersecurity principles and data protection

4. Leadership & Execution:

  • Proven ability to lead and mentor engineering teams, including Tech Leads and Developers.
  • Experience in technical planning, task prioritization, and driving execution based on product roadmaps.
  • Strong ownership mindset with the ability to balance hands-on work and leadership responsibilities.

5. Process & Methodology:

  • Experience working in Agile environments (Scrum, Kanban).
  • Familiarity with project management tools such as JIRA, Trello, ClickUp, or similar.
  • Experience in risk management, quality assurance, and engineering best practices.

6. Soft Skills:

  • Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking.
  • Effective communication skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally with Product, Marketing, and Operations teams.
  • High ownership, adaptability, and a results-driven mindset.
