Capital Markets Director

Key Responsibilities

1. Capital Markets Strategy & Fundraising

- Develop and execute the Group's capital markets and fundraising strategy to support business growth and project development.

- Lead equity, debt financing, and other structured financing transactions from origination through execution.

- Evaluate funding opportunities and recommend optimal capital structures to maximize financial efficiency.

- Lead negotiations with investors, lenders, and financial institutions.

- Advise senior management on financial models and funding strategies.

2. Funding Compliance & Governance

- Monitor compliance with financing agreements, covenants, and investor commitments across all funding transactions.

- Coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure timely fulfillment of financial, operational, and reporting obligations.

- Assess regulatory developments and advise management on legal and regulatory changes affecting capital markets activities.

3. Investor & Financial Institution Relations

- Build and maintain strategic relationships with domestic and international financial institutions, banks, investment funds, and institutional investors.

- Develop partnerships with external advisors, including legal counsel, auditors, valuation firms, credit rating agencies, and financial consultants, to support fundraising transactions.

- Monitor capital market trends, investor appetite, and financing opportunities to identify new sources of funding.

4. Leadership & Organizational Management

- Lead, develop, and mentor the Capital Markets team to deliver high performance.

- Strengthen internal processes, governance, and operational efficiency across the function.

- Ensure effective documentation, knowledge management, and compliance with internal policies.

- Identify legal and operational risks within the function and implement appropriate mitigation measures.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Auditing, Banking, Business Administration, or a related discipline.

- Strong knowledge of corporate finance, capital markets, financial markets, and securities markets, with a solid understanding of corporate, investment, banking, accounting, and financial regulations.

- Minimum 12 years of relevant experience in corporate finance, banking, financial control, accounting, investment structuring, investor relations, or fundraising.

- Proven experience in M&A, international business, corporate finance advisory, capital raising, financial due diligence, financial analysis, or audit, preferably gained at investment banks, securities firms, asset management companies, Big Four firms, or leading financial advisory firms.

- At least 7 years in a senior leadership role (Director level or above) within a real estate group, multinational corporation, or large Vietnamese enterprise.

- Strong leadership, stakeholder management, negotiation, and relationship-building skills with financial institutions and investors.

- Excellent analytical, strategic thinking, problem-solving, risk management, and change management capabilities.

- Strong organizational and team leadership skills with the ability to drive execution and deliver results.

- Excellent written and spoken English and proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
