Business Development Manager

Position Overview:

The Business Development Manager will be responsible for developing and executing strategic sales plans to expand our customer base and achieve revenue growth objectives. This role requires a dynamic leader capabe of building and mentoring a high-performing sales team,fostering strong client relationships, and driving the success of our logistics services,including freight forwarding, warehousing, local services, and project cargo.

Key Responsibilities:

- Strategic Sales Planning: Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies to achieve company objectives and drive revenue growth.

- Team Leadership: Recruit, train, mentor, and manage a team of sales representatives,setting clear performance objectives and fostering a culture of success.

- Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities,conduct market

- research, and establish relationships with potential clients to expand the company's market presence.

- Client Relationship Management: Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing clients, ensuring their logistics needs are met with the highest level of service and identifying opportunities for upselling additional services.

- Performance Monitoring: Analyze sales data, monitor team performance, and adjust strategies as necessary to meet or exceed sales targets.

- Collaboration: Work closely with the Operations,Customer Service, and Marketing teams to ensure cohesive efforts across the company and deliver integrated solutions to clients.

- Market Analysis: Stay informed about industry trends, market activities, and competitors to identify opportunities and challenges in the logistics sector.

- Education: Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.

- Experience: Minimum of 5 years in the logistics or freight forwarding industry, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role. Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.

- Industry Knowledge: Comprehensive understanding of logistics services, including freight forwarding, warehousing, local transportation, and project cargo.
Familiarity with shipping lines, airlines, and local service providers.

Skills:

- Strong leadership and team management abilities.

- Excellent communication, negotiation,and presentation skills.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

- Ability to analyze market trends and data to inform strategic decisions.

- Fluent in English, both written and spoken.

- Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience with international trade regulations and customs procedures.

- Established network within the logistics and transportation industry.

- Additional language skills relevant to the company's operational regions.

Compensation:

- Salary range: open to discuJSS.

- Monthly incentive based on KPI

- 13th month salary

- Annual salary increment + performance bonus
