- Design and develop vehicle body and closure systems such as doors, hood, tailgate, fenders and related components.
- Create and review 3D models, 2D drawings, engineering specifications and BOMs.
- Support package studies, interface management, tolerance analysis and engineering change implementation.
- Coordinate with styling, CAE, manufacturing, suppliers and project teams to meet function, quality, cost and timing targets.
- Investigate design issues and propose robust solutions considering manufacturability and assembly.
- Participate in technical discussions, design reviews and issue-tracking activities with customers and suppliers.
Yêu cầu công việc
- Bachelor’s degree in Automotive Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
- Understanding of BIW/body structure and/or closure system development is preferred.
- Familiarity with CAD tools and automotive engineering release processes.
- Good understanding of sheet metal/plastic part design, interfaces, tolerances and manufacturing considerations is an advantage.
- Professional working proficiency in English or Chinese is required; proficiency in both is preferred.
- Automotive body, BIW or closures development experience is an advantage.
