BIM Coordinator

1. BIM Model Coordination

- Coordinate multidisciplinary BIM models across Architecture, Structure, MEP, Infrastructure and specialist systems, with primary responsibility assigned to either MEP or Infrastructure packages.

Consolidate, review and coordinate BIM models submitted by design consultants, contractors and subcontractors at LOD 300–400.

- Support model federation and multidisciplinary coordination using Autodesk Revit, Civil 3D, Navisworks Manage and other relevant BIM coordination tools.

- Coordinate model interfaces between MEP/Infrastructure packages and Architecture, Structure, Façade and specialist systems.

- Manage model submission and approval workflows on CDE/EDMS platforms, including WIP, Shared and Published folders.

2. Model Review & Clash Detection

- Perform model reviews and clash detection using Navisworks Manage, Solibri or similar tools.

- Prepare clash reports, track issues and coordinate timely resolution with relevant parties.

- Ensure models comply with the BEP, project standards, naming conventions and delivery requirements.

- For MEP: focus on system routing, plant rooms, service clearances and MEP interfaces.

- For Infrastructure: focus on utilities, drainage, roadworks, external works and underground services.

3. BIM Documentation & Standards

- Support the BIM Manager in updating BIM plans, protocols, audit checklists and coordination procedures.

- Control model versions and ensure compliance with approved CDE/EDMS workflows.

- Prepare weekly and monthly BIM coordination reports.

4. Quantity Take-Off & 4D Support

- Support quantity take-off for assigned MEP or Infrastructure packages.

- Assist with 4D construction sequencing using Navisworks Timeliner.

- Check model links to project schedules when required.

5. Technical Support & Training

- Provide BIM guidance to consultants, contractors and internal project teams.

- Support basic training on BIM standards, model submission and naming conventions.

- Coordinate with IT and ACC/BIM360 support teams for user access and permissions.

- Perform other tasks assigned by the BIM Manager or Project Management team.

1. Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in MEP, Civil/Infrastructure Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture or a related discipline.

- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in BIM modeling, coordination or management.

- Relevant experience in either MEP or Infrastructure BIM coordination.

- Experience in large-scale infrastructure, airport, industrial, hospitality, mixed-use or high-rise projects is preferred.

2. Technical Skills

- Proficient in Navisworks Manage and familiar with BIM360/ACC or similar CDE platforms; good understanding of LOD 300–400, BIM workflows, BEP and clash resolution.

- For MEP: proficient in Revit MEP, with experience in Electrical, HVAC, Plumbing, Firefighting, ELV or specialist systems; familiar with routing, plant room and ceiling coordination.

- For Infrastructure: proficient in Civil 3D and/or Revit for Infrastructure, with experience in utilities, drainage, roadworks, external works, grading and underground services.

3. Personal Competencies

- Strong communication, coordination, and stakeholder management skills.

- Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple model revisions and deadlines.

- Good problem-solving skills and ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team.
