Visual Merchandiser

Collaborate with Retail Expansion Manager and contractors to develop visual concepts, moodboards, and overall layouts for new stores/showrooms/pop-ups.
Produce 2D drawings (floor plans, elevations, planograms) and 3D models (SketchUp + V-Ray preferred) to present ideas, fixtures, lighting, and display zones.
Work directly with fit-out contractors to control quality of visual elements, fixtures, finishes, and lighting according to design intent.
Create detailed planograms, merchandising guidelines, window display concepts, and visual SOPs for new stores.
Participate in site visits, measurements, handover, and train store teams on display standards and visual maintenance.
Support setup of pop-ups, events, and seasonal campaigns as required.
Maintain, refresh, and upgrade visual merchandising at operating stores/showrooms according to brand guidelines and seasonal campaigns.
Conduct regular visual audits and propose improvements to layout, displays, lighting, and props to enhance customer experience and sales impact.
Update planograms when assortment changes, new products launch, or campaigns are introduced.
Support store teams in executing visual standards correctly (with detailed guidelines, checklists, and training).
Prepare visual documentation (presentations, moodboards, 3D renders, planogram packages) for management and contractors.
Manage visual asset library, brand visual guidelines, and fixture catalogue.
Coordinate with related departments (Ops, Marketing, Sales) to ensure brand image consistency across the network.
KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS (KPIs)
KPIs for this role focus on two pillars: Store Visual Consistency and Continuous Improvement.
Store Visual Consistency
- Visual Audit Score: ≥ 90% compliance with Brand Visual Guidelines across all stores (monthly assessment).
- Focal Display Consistency: 100% of window displays and focal points comply with campaign/seasonal concepts.
- New Store Opening Visual Quality: 100% of new stores meet visual standards (design intent) at handover (assessed by Retail Expansion Manager).
Continuous Improvement
- Store Team Capability: 100% of store teams trained on visual standards (with checklist + scoring) within 30 days of store opening or major guideline changes.
- Response Time: Resolve/respond to visual issues from stores within 48 hours (except major construction cases).
- Seasonal Campaign Readiness: 100% of visual packages (planograms + guidelines + training materials) completed at least 10 working days before campaign kick-off.

- Minimum 3 years of experience as Visual Merchandiser / Store Design / Fit-out in retail (preference for fashion, beauty, luxury, lifestyle, fragrance).
- Hands-on experience in New Store Opening (from concept → drawings → construction → handover) for at least 2–3 projects.
- College/University degree in Interior Design, Architecture, Industrial Design, Design or equivalent.
- Technical Skills (Must-have)
- Proficient in 2D drawings (floor plans, elevations, planograms) and 3D modeling (SketchUp mandatory).
- Experience working with fit-out contractors: understanding of construction processes, materials, finishes, lighting, and fixtures.
- Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator / Photoshop for planograms, signage, and visual guidelines.
- Solid understanding of visual merchandising principles, customer journey, and brand storytelling in retail spaces.
