Reports to: Head of Delivery / Product Lead

About the role

We are looking for a UI/UX Designer to design intuitive, accessible and consistent interfaces for web-based enterprise and customer-facing systems in financial services. You must have designed for products in trade finance, KYC/onboarding, underwriting or B2C portals, where complex workflows, forms and compliance rules need to be made simple for the user.

Key responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end design process: user research, user flows, information architecture, wireframes, prototypes and final UI.

• Design web-based systems including customer portals, back-office screens, dashboards and multi-step onboarding and application journeys.

• Translate business and regulatory requirements (KYC forms, document capture, approval workflows) into clear, user-friendly interfaces.

• Build and maintain a design system and component library for consistency across products.

• Run usability testing and iterate on designs based on findings and user feedback.

• Work closely with Business Analysts, front-end developers and QA to ensure designs are implemented accurately and are responsive across devices.

• Prepare design specifications, assets and handover documentation for development.

Must-have requirements

• 3+ years of UI/UX design experience for web applications.

• Portfolio showing software products in at least one of: trade finance, KYC/onboarding, underwriting, B2C web portals.

• Expert in Figma (or Sketch/Adobe XD) including components, auto-layout and prototyping.

• Strong understanding of responsive web design, accessibility (WCAG) and usability principles.

• Experience designing complex forms, data tables, dashboards and workflow-driven screens.

• Ability to work with developers on implementation; basic understanding of HTML/CSS is expected.

• English proficiency: IELTS 6.0 or above.

Nice to have

• Experience with design systems for enterprise or banking products.

• Basic front-end skills (HTML, CSS, JavaScript or React) to support implementation.

• Experience with user research tools and analytics (Hotjar, Maze, Google Analytics).

• Background in fintech, banking or insurance products.
