Test Development Engineer (Memory Storage)

We are seeking a skilled Test Development Engineer to support the development of advanced SSD and Memory products. This role is responsible for building and enhancing testing solutions, validating product functionality and reliability, and collaborating with global engineering teams to ensure high-quality storage products from development through production.
Key Responsibilities (open to Remote/ Hybrid working)
• Develop, enhance and maintain automated test programs and software tools using programming languages such as Python, C/C++, C# or Java to verify product functionality, performance and reliability.
• Create comprehensive validation strategies, including test plans, test cases, test environments and hardware fixtures to support both new product introduction (NPI) and mass production.
• Define testing methodologies and continuously improve test coverage in accordance with product architecture and engineering requirements.
• Investigate test failures by performing hardware and firmware debugging, identifying root causes, and coordinating with design teams to implement corrective actions.
• Execute performance characterization, stress testing, endurance evaluation and power consumption analysis to verify product quality and long-term reliability.
• Review and interpret test results, monitor defects through issue tracking systems, and generate technical reports to improve manufacturing yield and testing efficiency.
• Prepare technical documentation such as validation procedures, test specifications, setup guides and operating instructions.
• Provide engineering support for production teams by resolving test system issues, troubleshooting failures and delivering technical training when required.

Yêu cầu công việc

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or a related technical discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in SSD, storage devices, hardware validation or product testing within the electronics industry.
• Solid understanding of storage technologies, SSD architecture, test methodologies, test planning, test case development and product debugging.
• Strong programming capability in Python, C/C++, C#, together with scripting experience for automated testing applications.
• Hands-on knowledge of storage interface protocols.
• Experience working with hardware debugging tools, SSD validation equipment and development environments on Linux and/or Windows platforms.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret test data, identify root causes and resolve complex technical issues.
• Good written and spoken English with effective communication skills to collaborate with global engineering teams and international customers.
