Supervisor Job Title: CI Leader

Organizational Unit: Production – CI

JOB PURPOSE

• CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT SPECIALIST

Key Related Activities

1. SAFETY AND ENVIRONMENT

• Always promote health and safety in the workplace

• Display excellent personal safety and challenge others when seeing unsafe behavior

• Responsible for safe operations in the production area with support of safety team.

• Ensure good housekeeping production area according to company policies and 5S program.

2. PROJECT MANAGEMENT

• Lead and manage continuous improvement projects following the DMAIC/PDCA methodology.

• Define project scope, objectives, timeline, resources, and expected benefits.

• Coordinate cross-functional teams to execute improvement initiatives and achieve project targets.

• Monitor project progress, risks, budget, and key milestones throughout each DMAIC/PDCA phase.

• Validate improvement results, ensure sustainable control plans, and track benefit realization.

• Prepare project documentation, reports, and lessons learned to support continuous improvement culture

3. PROCESS IMPROVEMENT

• Lead, implements and handle all activities of Bonfiglioli Progression System (BPS)

• Perform Cycle Time Analysis and Detection of NVA (Not Value Added)

• Production process development with full documentation support.

• Prepares and updates all necessary documentation for management system and kaizen

• Application of Lean Manufacturing and continuos improvement technique and Kaizen to reduce wastes and improve processes

• Application of the Bonfiglioli Progression System steps and deployment in the production floor

• Monitor and control of all KPIs related to the Bonfiglioli Progression System

• Deploy 5S and a system to monitor and control

4. PRODUCTION

• Ensure the process on line and company's rule are followed

• Feedback abnormalities to related sections to improve production performance as machine breakdown, missing material….

• Work close with QC and engineering department to ensure process flow and quality are consistence and meet the group requirements.

• To assist and work closely with production manager in all production activities.

5. Others

• Follow other tasks by CI Leader/Production and CI Manager

Specialized and Technical Knowledges

• Bachelor's degree in one of the following:

- Mechanical engineering

- Automation engineering

- Mechatronics engineering

• Work experience: 3–5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment (industrial engineering, ci)

• Computer requirements:

- Cad (or another layout software) minimum

- Solid works (or another 3d software) advanced

- Office suite advanced

- Sap (basic)

• In-depth knowledge of manufacturing process of mechanical product, strong analytical capacity

• Cross-functional collaboration — work effectively with production, qc, engineering, and supply chain

• Cycle time analysis and nva identification experience is preferred

• Lean six sigma green belt is preferred

• English – advanced level

Preferred Experience

- Related Process Improvement experience in multi – national organization

Working Schedule: Monday to Saturday (2 Saturdays per month)
