Technical Service Executive (Personal Care)

Key Responsibilities

- Technical Support & Formulation Development

- Develop and optimize cosmetic formulations for skin care, hair care, personal care, and related applications.

- Conduct laboratory trials, product evaluations, stability observations, and performance testing.

- Troubleshoot formulation issues and recommend suitable ingredient solutions for customers.

- Prepare prototype samples and demonstration formulations for customer projects and internal evaluations.

- Support customers with formulation guidance, ingredient selection, and application recommendations.

Sales & Customer Support

- Work closely with the sales team to provide technical support during customer projects.

- Participate in customer visits, technical presentations, and product demonstrations when required.

- Assist sales representatives in identifying suitable ingredient solutions based on customer needs.

- Respond to customer technical inquiries and provide supporting technical documents.

Technical Documentation & Training

- Prepare and maintain technical documents including formulation guides, technical data sheets, presentations, and application materials.

- Support internal technical training and knowledge sharing activities.

- Collect and monitor market trends, competitive products, and new ingredient technologies.

Regulatory & Compliance Support

- Assist in preparing and reviewing technical and regulatory documentation such as COA, MSDS, Specifications, and related files.

- Support compliance checks for cosmetic ingredients and finished product applications when required.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy, Chemistry, Cosmetic Science, Biotechnology, or related fields.

- Minimum 1 year of experience in cosmetic formulation, technical service, R&D, or technical support.

- Experience in cosmetic ingredients or personal care products is preferred.

- Fresh graduates with strong formulation internship experience may also be considered.

Skills & Competencies

- Basic understanding of cosmetic formulation and ingredient functionality.

- Strong interest in cosmetic science and formulation development.

- Good problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

- Ability to communicate technical information clearly to customers and sales teams.

- Good presentation and interpersonal skills.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

- Good command of English is an advantage.

-Willingness to travel for customer visits and technical support activities.
