Technical Sales Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

1. RFQ Document Analysis:

• Analyze all documents, drawings, and information received for RFQ processing.

• Ensure the completeness and accuracy of information required to initiate the quotation process.

2. Customer Requirement Analysis:

• Understand and analyze customer requirements to accurately transmit them to the team in China.

• Ensure clear and precise communication of customer specifications and expectations.

3. Preparation of Technical Documents:

• Prepare drawings and related documents necessary for RFQ submission.

• Ensure technical accuracy and compliance with customer specifications and industry standards.

4. Cost Estimation:

• Estimate prices of parts and assemblies to establish target prices for the quoting process.

• Utilize technical expertise and knowledge of manufacturing processes to determine cost factors.

5. Collaboration with China Team:

• Work collaboratively with the team in China to facilitate the bidding process.

• Coordinate with the China team to obtain quotations from 2-3 suppliers for each part or assembly.

6. Technical Support for Sales Representatives:

• Provide technical support to sales representatives regarding processed quotations.

• Address technical inquiries and assist in clarifying technical aspects of quotations for clients.

Yêu cầu công việc

• 0 to 3 years of relevant experience in technical sales or a related field.

• Diploma in mechanical engineering OR industrial maintenance OR technical degree in aerospace engineering OR industrial designer OR equivalent.

• Understanding technical drawings.

• Knowledge of 3D modeling software (SolidWorks an asset).

• Knowledge of the machining products industry or mechanical manufacturing processes (an asset).

• Strong proficiency in English, both verbal and written.

• Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.

• Rigor, punctuality, versatility, and dynamism to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
