Tax Senior/Experienced Tax Consultant

Job description: We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Tax Senior/Experienced Tax Consultant to join our team:

• Understanding of accounting, tax and commercial knowledge influencing Vietnamese tax and business transactions;

• Prepare and/or Review tax returns including Personal Income Tax (PIT), Corporate Income Tax (CIT), Foreign Contractor Tax (FCT), Value Added Tax (VAT), etc in conjunction with agreed timescales;

• Supports on drafting the advice via email/ letter to response to clients’ queries on tax related issues and other matters;

• Can allocate job to tax assistant, coach and provide tax assistant with proper guidelines;

• Can produce a well-supported piece of technical research;

• Assists with the production of tax reports and reviewing documents;

• Acts as one of contact points on specific projects/ clients under the Line managers’ appointment;

• Provide timely guidance and direct feedback and mentorship that contribute to the on-going development of the staff;

• Provide general support to clients in the provision of tax advice.

• Other tasks required by Manager/Partner.

Candidates need to fulfill the following criteria:

• Bachelor degree with an emphasis in Accounting, Finance, or other business related field;

• At least 1 year of experience in consulting firm for Experienced Tax Consultant; At least 2 years working experience as Tax Consultants for the position of Tax Senior;

• ACCA/ICAEW/Vietnamese or foreign CPA preferred;

• Strong written and verbal English communication skills; proficiency in an additional foreign language (Japanese, Korean or Chinese) is an advantage.

• Strong MS Excel skills required;

• Deadline-oriented, hardworking, responsible and willing to learn;

• Can work under high pressure, adaptable, flexible; mature attitude and highly committed;
