Supplier Quality Control Engineer ( Hung Yen Factory)

Main Duties & Responsibilities

Incoming Quality Control (IQC)

• Perform quality inspection of raw materials, components, and semi-finished products from suppliers based on:

- Technical drawings

- Specifications / technical standards

- Inspection Plans

• Coordinate with Warehouse and Production to:

- Classify accepted and rejected materials

- Isolate and handle NG (Non-Conforming) items

• Prepare and update:

- IQC inspection records

- Incoming defect reports

- Statistics of defect rates by supplier

In-process & Final Product Quality Control

• Participate in quality inspections:

- During the assembly process (In-process inspection)

- For finished products before storage or delivery

• Work closely with the Production team to:

- Detect quality issues at an early stage

- Conduct Root Cause Analysis

- Propose Corrective & Preventive Actions (CAPA)

• Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of implemented quality improvement actions

Supplier Quality Management

• Act as the quality focal point working directly with suppliers regarding:

- Quality issues

- Supplier claims

- Corrective actions

• Conduct:

- Periodic supplier audits / evaluations

- Supplier scoring and classification based on quality performance

• Follow up and verify:

- 8D reports / Corrective Action Reports from suppliers

- Effectiveness of improvements after corrective actions

Support in Establishing & Maintaining the ISO Quality System at MAV

• Participate in building and maintaining the Quality Management System in accordance with:

- ISO 9001 (and other relevant ISO standards if applicable)

• Draft, update, and control:

- Procedures

- Work Instructions (WI)

- Quality forms and documents

Qualification

- Degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or equivalent

- Knowledge and experience in Electrical & Mechanical with analytical and troubleshooting skills

- Understanding of ISO 9001 & ISO 45001 is a plus

- Facility maintenance management experience is a must

Experience

a) Minimum 5 years in facility engineering

b) Minimum 5 years in equipment maintenance

c) Good knowledge in price estimation of related work activities

Essential Attributes :

a) Good interpersonal and communications skills

b) High regards to quality and expediency

c) Good negotiating and management skills

d) Ability to work and solve problem independently
