Sr. Process Quality Engineer

CSW Industrials (NewYork: CSWI) is a U.S. publicly traded company with approximately $6B market capitalization, serving a variety of HVAC end markets through three business units: Contractor Solutions, Engineered Building Solutions, and Specialized Reliability Solutions. Our manufacturing facility, TRUAIRE Vietnam, is located in Nhon Trach 1 Industrial Zone, Dong Nai. We are looking for a Quality Engineer (Shopfloor) who will play a key role in ensuring product quality directly at the production line. This position focuses on in-process quality control, fast problem solving, and continuous improvement. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve quality issues, ensure process compliance, and drive defect reduction to meet customer expectations.

Shopfloor Quality Control

- Monitor in-process quality directly at production lines

- Ensure compliance with Control Plan, SOP, WI, and quality standards

- Perform patrol inspection and Layered Process Audit (LPA)

Problem Solving & Improvement

- Respond quickly to quality issues at the line (containment, segregation, rework)

- Conduct root cause analysis (5 Why, Fishbone, 8D)

- Implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA)

- Propose poka-yoke and Kaizen solutions to reduce scrap and rework

Data Monitoring & Analysis

- Track quality KPIs: FPY, defect rate, scrap rate

- Analyze trends and propose improvement actions

- Ensure accurate and timely shop-floor data collection

Collaboration & Support

- Work closely with Production, PE, IE, and R&D teams

- Support customer complaints handling and 8D reports

- Participate in trials and pilot runs to ensure quality readiness

System & Compliance

- Maintain and comply with IATF 16949 / ISO 9001

- Support internal, external, and customer audits

- Support supplier quality evaluation and management

Yêu cầu công việc

- Bacholer: Gradure in Mechatronics (Preferred) / Electrical-Electronics

- Experience 4–5 years of experience in shopfloor quality (IPQC). Hands-on experience handling line issues. Preferred experience in automotive / electronics/manufacturing

- Technical Skills:

+ Knowledge of APQP, PPAP, PFMEA, Control Plan, SPC, MSA

+ Strong problem-solving skills: 7 QC tools, 5 Why, Fishbone, 8D

+ Understanding of IATF 16949 / ISO 9001

+ Knowledge of Lean / Six Sigma is a plus

- Shopfloor Mindset (Must-have)

+ Strong Gemba mindset (hands-on at production line)

+ Quick identification and response to abnormalities

+ Ability to work closely with Production under pressure

+ High ownership and sense of urgency

- Technical Ability

+ Ability to read technical drawings and specifications 01_22/07/2025

+ Familiar with measurement tools (caliper, micrometer, VOM, special equipment…)

+ ERP/MES experience is a plus

- Language & Soft Skills

+ Good communication in English and Vietnamese

+ Strong teamwork and ability to work under pressure

+ Proactive, fast learner, high responsibility
