Sourcing and Supply Chain Team Leader [English/HN]

- Manage the Sourcing & Supply Chain team (2–3 members), taking full responsibility for activities ranging from supplier sourcing to supply chain operation optimization.
- 1. Sourcing
-
- Receive product requirements from the R&D team; conduct market, competitor, pricing, and product standard analysis.
- Search for, evaluate, and develop a supplier network (especially in China).
- Negotiate pricing, MOQ, lead time, and contract terms.
- Ensure suppliers meet quality, cost, and delivery requirements.
- Build and maintain long-term partnerships with suppliers.
- 2. Procurement

- Manage the entire procurement process from purchase order placement to warehouse receipt.
- Monitor production progress and ensure timelines are met.
- Oversee quality control (QC) before shipment.
- Work with freight forwarders to optimize transportation costs and delivery time.
- Handle issues related to orders, product quality, and shipment.
- Manage supplier payment terms and accounts payable.
- 3. Supply Chain

- Manage inventory and replenishment planning to optimize inventory turnover.
- Analyze data to optimize COGS and operational efficiency.
- Develop reporting systems for quality, lead time, and cost.
- Ensure operational KPIs (inventory, fulfillment, lead time) achieve target performance.
- 4. Team Building & Management

- Develop and optimize workflows within the department, across company functions, and with external partners to improve operational efficiency.
- Build supplier network development strategies to optimize COGS and payment terms.
- Recruit, train, and develop the team in line with the company’s growth strategy.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams (R&D, Marketing, etc.) to ensure timely information updates and process optimization.

- Required Languages

- Proficient in English (listening, speaking, reading, and writing).
- Proficiency in Chinese (equivalent to HSK4 or above) is prefered.
- Required knowledge and skills

- Strong understanding of sourcing, procurement, logistics, and supply chain management processes.
- At least 3 years of experience in these functions.
- Sharp analytical and logical thinking.
- Strong sense of responsibility with a continuous learning and self-development mindset.
- Excellent negotiation and supplier relationship management skills.
- Strong data analysis and decision-making capabilities; proficient in Excel (experience with Power BI or similar BI tools is an advantage).
- Team leadership and people management skills.
