Senior Warehouse Manager

1) Warehouse Operations Management:
- Oversee all warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, kitting, packing, and shipping activities.
- Develop and implement warehouse processes and standard operating procedures to ensure efficient and accurate operations.
- Monitor inventory levels, conduct regular cycle counts, and implement measures to prevent stockouts or excess inventory.
2) Inventory Management:
- Implement inventory control mechanisms to optimize stock levels, minimize inventory carrying costs, and ensure accurate inventory records.
- Coordinate with material planning and production teams to ensure timely availability of materials, kitting readiness and components for production.
- Conduct regular inventory audits to reconcile physical stock with system records and address any discrepancies.
- Should have experience managing:

+ Incoming inspection flow/ASN processing/GRN transactions.
+ FIFO/FEFO
+ Lot/date code control
+ Supplier discrepancies
(*) Inventory Control:
+ Inventory accuracy >98–99%

+ Slow-moving and obsolete inventory management
(*) Material Control:
+ Line-side replenishment
+ Kitting/Kanban
+ Material staging
+ Shortage management
+ Production support
(*) Kitting & Production Readiness
(*) This is critical in EMS
(*) The candidate should have experience ensuring:
+ Production kits are complete before release
+ Material shortages are identified proactively
+ Correct revisions are issued
+ Right components, quantity, lot/date codes
+ On-time kit readiness (e.g., 100% kits available before production starts)
3) Warehouse Layout and Organization:
- Optimize the warehouse layout to maximize space utilization, facilitate efficient material flow, and support lean operations.
- Establish proper storage methods, labeling systems, and inventory categorization to enable easy identification and retrieval of materials.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and best practices in warehouse organization and housekeeping.
4) Team Leadership and Development:
- Supervise and train warehouse staff, including hiring, onboarding, performance management, and professional development.
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, promoting teamwork, accountability, and a strong work ethic.
- Conduct regular team meetings to communicate goals, provide updates, and address any warehouse-related issues.

5) Continuous Improvement:
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost savings within the warehouse operations.
- Analyze warehouse performance metrics, such as inventory accuracy, on-time shipments, and order fulfillment rates, and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Stay updated with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in warehouse management to drive continuous improvement.
1. Education:
- Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics, or a related field. A master's degree is a plus.
2. Experience:
- 5–10+ years in EMS or electronics manufacturing, with at least 2–3 years in a warehouse or materials management leadership role.
- Experience supporting:
+ SMT and PCB assembly production
+ High-mix, low-volume and/or high-volume manufacturing
+ JIT (Just-in-Time) manufacturing
+ Customer-driven production schedules
- Experience in industries like automotive electronics, industrial electronics, medical devices, or telecom manufacturing is also valuable.
- ERP Experience
- Strong hands-on experience with one or more ERP systems such as: SAP/Oracle/Microsoft Dynamics 365
- Should understand how warehouse transactions affect:
+ Inventory accuracy
+ Production orders
+ BOMs
+ Material allocations
+ Work orders
+ Lot/serial traceability
+ Cycle counting
- Not just data entry—they should know how ERP supports manufacturing execution.
3. Others:
- Proficiency in using warehouse management systems (WMS) and other relevant software tools.
- Excellent leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing team.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to identify areas for improvement and implement effective solutions.
