Senior Procurement

The Senior Procurement is responsible for sourcing and purchasing activities, with a strong focus on international suppliers, technical raw materials, outsourced manufacturing services, and special processes.

This role manages the procurement cycle from supplier sourcing and RFQ through negotiation, purchasing, expediting, and delivery, ensuring competitive cost, quality compliance, and on-time supply.

Key Responsibilities

• Source, evaluate, and develop qualified local and international suppliers.

• Manage international procurement activities with suppliers in the US, Singapore, Europe, and other overseas markets.

• Handle RFQs, quotation comparison, negotiation, PO placement, expediting, and delivery follow-up.

• Source technical materials including aluminum, stainless steel, titanium, plastics, and other materials according to drawings and specifications.

• Source outsourced manufacturing and special processes such as heat treatment, surface treatment, coating, plating, grinding, and inspection services.

• Work with Engineering, Quality, Planning, and Production to understand drawings, BOMs, specifications, and sourcing requirements.

• Obtain quotations to support costing, new projects, and RFQ activities.

• Negotiate pricing, MOQ, lead time, payment terms, Incoterms, freight, and other commercial conditions.

• Coordinate international shipments, import activities, and supplier documentation.

• Monitor critical and long-lead purchase orders and proactively manage supply risks.

• Develop alternative suppliers and sourcing solutions to improve cost, lead time, and supply continuity.

• Ensure required supplier documentation and certifications are available, including Material Certificates, COC, inspection reports, Nadcap, and AS9100 where applicable.

• Monitor supplier performance and support supplier qualification and corrective actions.

• Drive cost reduction, lead-time improvement, MOQ optimization, and other procurement improvement initiatives.

• Maintain accurate purchasing, pricing, lead-time, and supplier sourcing records.

• Provide regular procurement status updates and escalate critical issues when required.

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Procurement, Business, Engineering, International Business, or a related field.

• 3-5 years of experience in Procurement, Sourcing, or Supply Chain, preferably in manufacturing.

• Strong experience in international procurement and overseas supplier management.

• Experience in technical materials, machining services, outsourced processes, or special-process sourcing is preferred.

• Good knowledge of RFQ, commercial negotiation, Incoterms, international logistics, and import/export activities.

• Ability to understand engineering drawings, BOMs, and material specifications is preferred.

• Experience in aerospace, precision machining, automotive, medical devices, semiconductor, or similar industries is an advantage.

• Knowledge of AMS, ASTM, aluminum, stainless steel, titanium, heat treatment, and Nadcap processes is a strong advantage.

• Strong sourcing, negotiation, analytical, problem-solving, and follow-up skills.

• Good English communication skills and ability to work directly with international suppliers.

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Office; ERP/MRP experience is preferred.
