(Senior) PE ENGINEER

1. Job Summary

The PE Engineer is responsible for supporting and optimizing CS PKG, PCB manufacturing processes to ensure stable production, good quality, and high efficiency. This role will work closely with cross-functional teams to improve yield, solve production issues, and support new product introduction (NPI).

2. Key Responsibilities

• Process Improvement & Production Support

• Support and optimize CS PKG, PCB manufacturing processes such as drilling, plating, etching, imaging, lamination, and surface finishing

• Monitor production performance and analyze process data to improve yield and reduce defects

• Support continuous improvement activities related to productivity, quality, and cost reduction

• Prepare and maintain SOPs, process documents, and technical parameters

• New Product Introduction (NPI)

• Support NPI activities from trial stage to mass production

• Assist in process evaluation and manufacturability review

• Coordinate with related teams during product transfer and engineering validation

• Troubleshooting & Yield Improvement

• Investigate production issues and support root cause analysis

• Work with Production and Quality teams to implement corrective actions

• Monitor process stability and support yield improvement activities

• Cross-functional Collaboration

• Coordinate with Production, Quality, Maintenance, and R&D teams for daily operations

• Support internal audits and process improvement projects

• Participate in technical discussions with HQ or overseas teams when required

Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or related fields

• Minimum 2–3 years of experience in PCB, or SMT .

• Experience in PE/Process Engineering role is preferred

Technical Skills

• Basic knowledge of SMT, PCB manufacturing processes

• Familiar with process control tools such as SPC, FMEA, or Control Plan

• Experience in troubleshooting and yield improvement is an advantage

• Familiar with ERP/MES systems is preferred

Soft Skills

• Good analytical and problem-solving skills

• Good teamwork and communication skills

• Able to work under pressure in manufacturing environment

• Proactive and willing to learn

Language

• Able to communicate in English OR in Korean

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in multinational manufacturing companies

• Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, or Kaizen is an advantage
