Job Title: Senior Expert, Pricing

Function: Appointed Actuary

JOB PURPOSE

As the industry leading technical expert responsible for consulting and implementing the standardize pricing models across the product portfolio, proposed appropriate assumptions according to market practices and product features, and representing the department in working with external partners to ensure compliance, transparency, and financial performance.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

Key Accountabilities (1)

1: Product pricing model and pricing reports

- Create pricing models for new product lines: unit-linked, universal life, endowment, term life and integrated health insurance.

- Analyze product cash flow in detail, determine distribution costs, provisions, profitability and market attractiveness.

- Propose appropriate pricing assumptions and prepare MOF Pricing and Reserve specs for MOF product approval as well as Internal Pricing report for Internal approval.

Key Accountabilities (2)

2: Strategic advise & actuarial product support

- Cooperate with the product development working group as representative of actuary to provide necessary actuarial product support.

- Participate in the product development working group to discuss and advice on benefit structure, customer behavior and market practice.

- Propose appropriate input assumptions and test the quality of model output to serve audit/Group review.

Key Accountabilities (3)

3. Professional representative & business system development

- Represent the Pricing unit in system integration projects: cooprate with Product team to prepare cases for Day1 and Day 2 items and perform relevant UAT from actuarial perspective.

- Support in business review with internal audit agencies or Group units when there is a pricing review.

- Transfer in-depth knowledge to subordinates and academic training documents.

Yêu cầu công việc

Bachelor’s or Master’s in Insurance, Finance, or Applied Statistics. Minimum 06 years of experience in pricing, product structuring, and profit analysis. Proficient in actuarial tools such as GGY Axis, Prophet, or similar software. Actively pursuing and completed ≥ 05 exams under ASA/FSA/FIA track is required.
