Senior Architect

Job Purpose: The Senior Architect is responsible for delivering architectural design services for

building projects and supporting the Design Department Manager in ensuring design quality,

regulatory compliance, and coordination with other disciplines.

The role covers architectural works from concept to detailed design stages, ensuring that design

solutions are functional, compliant, cost-effective, and constructible within a project

management consultancy environment.

Responsibilities:

• Work as part of the Design Department on assigned building projects

• Participate in all project stages including concept design, design development, and detailed

design

• Review architectural drawings and documents to ensure compliance with project

requirements, applicable regulations, and design standards in Vietnam

• Assist in revising and developing architectural drawings using AutoCAD, SketchUp,

Photoshop, Revit, or other relevant software

• Coordinate and liaise with appointed design consultants and internal disciplines (Structure,

MEP, Project Management)

• Check architectural design documents before transferring to other departments, including

but not limited to:

(1) Compliance with project requirements and client brief

(2) Compliance with legal regulations and applicable design codes

(3) Effectiveness in balancing design quality and cost

(4) Constructability and feasibility of design solutions

(5) Identification of potential design risks

• Support other departments in architectural-related works, both technically and legally (if

required)

• Support material selection, cost coordination, and value engineering activities

• Prepare architectural reports, design guidelines, and technical notes as required

• Assist in preparing and updating studies on legal regulations and design standards

• Contribute to improving internal design and project management procedures

• Other tasks assigned by Managers

Educational background

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture

• Minimum 5–7 years of experience in architectural design

for building projects

Experiences

• Experience in high-rise, commercial, mixed-use, or

residential developments is preferred

• Experience working with design consultants and

multidisciplinary teams is an advantage

Skills required

• Proficient in AutoCAD (mandatory)

• Proficient in architectural software such as SketchUp,

Photoshop, Revit, and Microsoft Office

• Good understanding of Vietnamese building regulations

and approval procedures

• Ability to review and coordinate multi-disciplinary

design documents

• Good English communication skills, both written and

spoken

• Strong leadership and team coordination skills

• Detail-oriented, responsible, and quality-focused

and meet project deadlines
