Senior Architect

1. Role Overview:

The Senior Architect is a management-level role responsible for leading and delivering large-scale architectural projects, with a focus on high-rise residential, hospitality, office, and mixed-use developments. This position takes overall responsibility for assigned projects, including design management, construction documentation, statutory coordination, multi-disciplinary consultant coordination, team leadership, and project progress control, while reporting directly to the Studio Director. The structure and baseline responsibilities below were adapted from the two reference JDs you shared, especially around end-to-end project control, consultant coordination, technical documentation, legal approvals, team leadership, and client reporting.

2. Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage projects through all phases, from design development to construction documentation, authority submissions, and construction-stage coordination.

• Take primary responsibility for project quality, design progress, deliverables, and overall execution.

• Organize the project team, allocate workload, monitor performance, and propose additional staffing when required.

• Coordinate all related disciplines and consultants, including structure, MEP, landscape, interior, lighting, kitchen, laundry, and other specialist packages.

• Work closely with clients, present project progress at key stages, and ensure clear communication throughout the project lifecycle.

• Coordinate with international consultants and project stakeholders to ensure design intent, technical standards, and project requirements are met.

• Oversee statutory and legal submission processes, approvals, and compliance with relevant regulations in Vietnam.

• Manage technical issues, design coordination matters, and site-related challenges to ensure timely and effective project delivery.

• Report project status, resource needs, risks, and team performance to the Studio Director.

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Architecture.

• Minimum 8–10 years of professional experience in architecture, with proven experience in a senior or project lead role.

• Strong experience in construction documentation, multi-disciplinary coordination, and project delivery across all phases.

• Solid understanding of statutory approval procedures, local regulations, and project legal processes in Vietnam.

• Demonstrated ability to lead teams, manage multiple priorities, and deliver complex projects on schedule.

• Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to work directly with clients and consultants.

• Proficiency in industry-standard software such as AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and other documentation/presentation tools.

• Good spoken and written English is mandatory, particularly for working with international consultants.
