Scheduling Coordinator

PURPOSE OF THIS POSITION:
Responsible for monitoring and coordinating the execution of production schedules released by the Planning team, ensuring production orders are completed on time, materials are available, and any issues affecting production are escalated and resolved promptly to support customer delivery commitments.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Receive production schedules from the Planning team and communicate requirements to relevant departments.
- Monitor daily production progress against the established schedule.
- Update production status.
- Coordinate with Production, Warehouse, Purchasing, and Quality teams to ensure smooth execution of the production plan.
- Monitor material and component availability and report shortages or risks to the Planner.
- Identify and escalate issues that may impact production schedules and recommend corrective actions.
- Track open and completed work orders, including priority and urgent orders.
- Prepare and maintain daily and weekly production status reports.
- Ensure timely updates and communication of any plan changes to relevant stakeholders.
REQUIREMENTS:
Education:
- Degree in business, logistics, inventory management, or a related field preferred.
Experience:
- 1-3 years of experience in Production Control, Scheduling, Manufacturing Operations, or related functions.
Others:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP/MRP systems.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Deadline driven.
