Safety Engineer - Emergency Response

- Understand and be knowledgeable about firefighting and rescue equipment in the plant.
- Develop, implement, and maintain Emergency Response Plans (ERP), firefighting procedures, rescue plans.
- Supervise and coordinate emergency response activities, including fire incidents, chemical spills, gas leaks, medical emergencies, and natural disasters.
- Plan training programs for the firefighting team and operation team to ensure effective coordination and proper use of firefighting equipment.
- Lead Emergency Response Team (ERT) members and coordinate with contractors, security teams, and external emergency authorities (Fire Police, Hospitals, Local Authorities).
- Conduct emergency drills, simulations, and training programs to improve emergency preparedness and response capability.
- Inspect and maintain firefighting systems, emergency equipment, rescue tools, alarm systems, and PPE to ensure operational readiness.
- Investigate emergency incidents, identify root causes, and implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Prepare emergency response reports, drill evaluations, and management updates related to emergency preparedness performance.
- Monitor contractor compliance with emergency and firefighting requirements during project and operational activities.

- Bachelor’s degree or certificates related to Fire Protection, Safety Engineering, Occupational Health & Safety, or related field.
- Minimum 6 months of experience in emergency response, firefighting, industrial safety, or HSSE operations.
- Strong knowledge of firefighting systems, rescue techniques, emergency management, and risk assessment.
- Familiarity with Vietnamese Fire Prevention & Fighting regulations and international standards related to emergency response.
- Experience in conducting emergency drills and coordinating with government emergency authorities.
- Good leadership, communication, analytical, and incident management skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and respond effectively during emergency situations.
- Certification in firefighting, rescue, first aid, or incident command system (ICS) is an advantage.
