Quality System Engineer

Position Overview

Build ISO:9001 system and together with Supervisor to assist department Managers to build culture, take charge of customer quality so as to make sure of the operation achieving quality, productivity and output goals and improve

Key Responsibilities

1. Be responsible of customer requirement. Ensure the quality control system do in right way, ensure all countermeasure being implemented and maintained.

2. Be responsible of quality system as ISO:9001/CSR/EICC/Customer standards.

3. Work as QMS coordinator in Plant. Training/Coaching QS Engineer to response to Customer/3rd party audit. A bridge between the factory and QS team in implementing quality management system improvement projects.

4. Handle customer quality claim/requests. Ensure data input into SAP system. Training/Coaching CQE to Customer quality claim/request response.

5. Lead QN task force team, cordinate for QN related actions in Plant and follow up. Manage 8D system.

6. Mornitor customer quality performance. Control and improve defect rate, scraps, material consumption, sorting cost. Contact to related departments, sales and customer for quality issue and follow up improvement actions.

7. Participate quality meetings in plant and/or with customer and reports. Take part of defect analysis, abnormality report, follow up actions, customer complain and claim, sorting, PFMEA.

8. Take part for trial run, transfer components, products and new product development. Participate supplier, vendor assessment. Work with CQE and support local customer quality if need.

9. Subordinate performance assessment.

10. Clearly understand self’s and section’s goals to make contribution to obtain quality and delivery goals.

11. Be accountable for the compliance to rules, procedures, and requirement in terms of:

7S & KAIZEN

Environmental Health Safety

EICC & Social Responsibility

Protection of company assets

12. Understand, support and contribute to current Molex Total Quality Management (TQM), Six Sigma, International Standards Organization (ISO) and Environmental, and/or Health and Safety (EH&S) Management Systems by following stated policies and procedures.

13. Perform other related duties as assigned by management.

* Support shuttle bus from Hanoi/ Hai Duong/ Bac Ninh to Hung Yen

EDUCATION:

· College/University

REQUIRED:

· At least 3 years equivalent experiences in manufacturing companies

SKILLS & ABILITIES:

Good knowledge in quality

English communication

Good knowledge at manufacturing processes

Performance assessment

Standards, instructions creation skills

Human relation skills

On the job Training, Coaching skills and Basic management & Kaizen

Quality inspection machines and instrument operation.

ISOs, RoSH, SAP, Lean&Sixsigma
