QC Inspector - Hard Goods (English / Chinese)

About the Role

We are looking for a hands-on QC Inspector to conduct product quality inspections at OEM manufacturing partners in Vietnam. This role primarily focuses on finished goods inspection to ensure every production lot meets quality specifications, AQL standards, and customer requirements before shipment.

Key Responsibilities

Finished Goods Inspection

Conduct pre-shipment inspections at OEM factories according to company inspection procedures.

Perform cosmetic inspections and functional tests, including:

Leak test

Thermal insulation test

Drop test

Torque test

Other product performance tests as required.

Classify defects as Critical, Major, or Minor based on AQL standards.

Make Pass/Fail decisions for production lots.

Verify packaging quality, artwork, labeling, carton condition, dimensions, and packaging accuracy.

Inspection Reporting & Documentation

Prepare inspection reports with complete photo documentation.

Issue Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) for failed inspections.

Follow up on corrective actions, factory rework, and CAPA activities.

Maintain defect logs to support quality improvement initiatives.

Quality Compliance

Conduct inspections with professionalism, integrity, and independence.

Ensure compliance with company quality standards and inspection protocols.

Support quality investigations and continuous improvement initiatives when required.

Location: Hanoi/ Bac Ninh/ Ha Nam / Hai Phong (Preferred) – Frequent travel to OEM factories in Bắc Ninh, Hà Nam & Hải Phòng

Yêu cầu công việc

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related technical disciplines (or equivalent practical experience).

• Minimum 2–3 years of experience in Quality Inspection/Quality Assurance within consumer hard goods manufacturing.

• Hands-on experience conducting AQL-based finished goods inspections in an OEM manufacturing environment.

• Experience with products such as drinkware, housewares, kitchenware, or similar metal/plastic consumer products is preferred.

• Good command of English to read technical specifications and prepare inspection reports. Conversational Mandarin Chinese is a strong advantage.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).

Experience with QMS or digital inspection systems is an advantage.

• Willing to travel frequently to OEM factories in Northern Vietnam when required.
