Project Management Engineer

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Project Management Engineer to manage new product development projects in the Automotive industry.

You will lead cross-functional project teams and work closely with R&D, Sales, Supply Chain, Industrialization, Quality, and customers to ensure projects meet SQCD (Safety, Quality, Cost, Delivery) targets from development to mass production.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate new product development and industrialization projects from project launch to mass production.

• Manage project timing, milestones, risks, changes, and action plans to ensure SQCD targets.

• Coordinate cross-functional teams including R&D, Quality, Supply Chain, Industrialization, and Sales.

• Work with customers to clarify requirements, communicate project status, and resolve issues.

• Collaborate with R&D on product design, technical specifications, and validation plans.

• Work with Quality teams on APQP, problem-solving, and customer requirements.

• Coordinate with Industrialization teams to ensure smooth product/process transfer into production.

• Organize project meetings and Gate Reviews; monitor open issues and project progress.

• Prepare project status reports and present key updates to management.

• Drive continuous improvement of project management processes, tools, and databases.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Automotive Engineering, or related fields.

• 3–7 years of experience as a Project Engineer, Project Manager, NPI

• Engineer, or similar role in an industrial/manufacturing environment.

• Experience in the Automotive / Automotive Parts industry is highly preferred.

• Good understanding of NPI, APQP, project management, and cross-functional coordination.

• Strong problem-solving, analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

• Strong time management and ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.

• Good English communication skills and confidence in working with international customers.

• Proficient in MS Office 365.

• Korean or Chinese language skills are a plus.
