Industrialization / Process Engineer – Automotive

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Industrialization / Process Engineer to develop and optimize manufacturing processes for automotive products.

You will be responsible for new project industrialization, process design, continuous improvement, and mass production problem-solving, working closely with cross-functional teams to achieve Safety, Quality, Cost, and Delivery (SQCD) targets.

This is an ideal opportunity for engineers with experience in Automotive Manufacturing, Process Engineering, Industrialization, NPI, or Production Engineering who want to work in an international manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

1. New Project Industrialization

• Develop and validate manufacturing processes for new automotive projects from feasibility study to mass production.

• Design process flow, production layout, line balancing, cycle time, and capacity.

• Prepare PFMEA, process documentation, and technical specifications for machines and tooling.

• Coordinate equipment/tooling trials and ensure smooth NPI/APQP implementation.

2. Process Improvement

• Drive Kaizen, Lean Manufacturing, Poka-Yoke, and automation projects to improve productivity, quality, safety, and cost.

• Optimize processes, reduce waste and material consumption, and improve process stability.

3. Mass Production & Problem Solving

• Work with cross-functional teams to identify root causes and resolve production issues.

• Implement corrective and preventive actions to ensure stable mass production.

• Support IATF 16949 / customer audits and continuously improve process standards.

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Automation, Mechanical Engineering, Polymer Engineering, or related fields.

• 3+ years of experience in Process Engineering, Industrialization, Production Engineering, or similar roles in Automotive Manufacturing.

• Strong knowledge of Process Design, PFMEA, Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, and 5S.

• Experience with APQP / NPI / New Product Industrialization is highly preferred.

• Ability to read mechanical drawings and understand GD&T.

• Basic knowledge of AutoCAD and CATIA.

• Basic understanding of electrical drawings and PLC systems.

• Knowledge of Omron HMI, Siemens, or Mitsubishi PLC is an advantage.

• Good understanding of IATF 16949, ISO 9001, and automotive quality standards.

• Intermediate English communication skills.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive and continuous improvement mindset.

• Good teamwork and cross-functional collaboration skills.
