Production Team Lead (Merchandise) - Supply Chain Operations (Total Annual Compensation Up-To 50,000 USD)

As the Production Team Lead, you will own Crossian's end-to-end Merchandise Product production capability — from sample development through bulk production across our factory network in China. You will lead the merchandiser team to deliver optimal production lead time and capacity while maximizing profitability through merchandise cost control and product quality enhancement. You will also act as Business Owner for production-related features of our SCM system.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

1/ Production Operations

- Own the end-to-end production process: from sample development (in coordination with QC/Technical Design team) to bulk production and Production - Order allocation across factories.

- Manage and optimize production lead time; ensure production capacity meets business growth and demand plans.

- Partner with the Sourcing/Partner Management team on factory capacity planning, allocation strategy, and supplier performance.

- Co-own inventory health with the Fulfillment Team Lead: plan replenishment and production schedules to maintain healthy stock levels while minimizing holding costs and risks.

2/ Profit Optimization

- Reduce merchandise cost through efficient production planning, allocation, and supplier negotiation (with the Partner Management team).

- Enhance product quality in collaboration with Technical Designers and manufacturers to reduce customer return/refund rates.

- Lead Risk and Loss (RAL) mitigation initiatives across the production process.

3/ System Development (as Business Owner)

- Act as Business Owner for production-related SCM system features.

- Collaborate with Product and Tech teams to define requirements, validate solutions, and drive adoption.

4/ Team Leadership & Growth

Manage, mentor, and grow the merchandiser team; drive recruitment and development paths.

5/ Process Optimization

Identify inefficiencies in the production workflow and lead continuous improvement projects.

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR

- Strong planning capability: demand/production planning, capacity planning, and execution follow-through.

- Strong project management skills (planning, execution, follow-up).

- Data analytics & visualization skills (Excel/Sheets, BI tools); data-driven decision-making mindset.

- Experience in manufacturing or production operations (competitive advantage).

- Experience working with software development as Business Owner / Product Owner / PM (competitive advantage).

- Strong leadership & people management capabilities.

- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and collaboration skills.

- Software Product Owners/Managers with proven track records are very welcome to apply.
