Production Supervisor

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Production Planning & Execution

- Oversee the receipt, movement, and execution of released work orders through production, inspection,and testing areas.

- Participate in the development of production build plans and communicate plans to assembly, inspection,and test teams.

- Set daily, weekly, and monthly production objectives and communicate them clearly to employees.

- Assign responsibilities, organize workflow, and prepare production schedules.

- Review production plans regularly and expedite critical or high-priority jobs.

- Prioritize schedules to support finished goods building plans and shipment commitments

2. Monitoring, Reporting & Control

- Maintain accurate status and progress records for work orders throughout all production stages.

- Perform daily routine and operation sheet revision control for work orders in process.

- Submit regular reports on production performance, progress, and efficiency.

- Identify production bottlenecks and coordinate corrective actions to resolve constraints.

- Expedite material shortages through coordination with production planning, scheduling, and materia control teams.

3. Team Leadership & Supervision

- Guide, coach, and monitor employee performance and productivity.

- Train new employees in safe equipment use, work instructions, and company procedures.

- Enforce company policies, safety regulations, and quality standards at all times.

- Foster a teamwork-oriented environment through effective communication and employee recognition.

- Carry out supervisory responsibilities including interviewing, training, motivating, rewarding, and disciplining employees.

- Resolve personnel issues and conflicts in accordance with company policies.

4. Safety, Quality & Continuous Improvement

- Ensure the safe use of equipment and coordinate regular maintenance activities.

- Verify production output meets drawings, specifications, and quality requirements.

- Identify inefficiencies and recommend process improvements to management.

- Solve production and operational issues while ensuring production plans are met and budgets are controlled.

- Recommend updates or improvements to production, operations, and material control procedures.

5. Cross-Functional Collaboration

- Work closely with planning, material control, quality, engineering, and management teams.

- Support continuous improvement initiatives across manufacturing operations.

- Perform additional duties as assigned to support overall production objectives.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

1. Education & Experience

• Minimum 3 years of experience in welding operations (TIG welding required; orbital welding preferred).

• Mechanical Engineering background preferred, with working knowledge of milling, lathe, tube bending, and saw operations.

2. Technical & Professional Skills

• Strong understanding of welding, fabrication, and manufacturing processes.

• Excellent English communication skills (written and verbal) - required.

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.

• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.

• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical procedures, drawings, manuals, and regulations.

• Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and standard operating procedures.

• Comfortable presenting information and responding to questions from management, customers, and teams.

• Strong organizational and time-management skills.

• Proficient in PC-based software applications.

3. Analytical & Reasoning Skills

• Ability to interpret technical instructions in written, mathematical, or diagram form.

• Ability to define problems, collect data, analyze information, and draw valid conclusions.

• Ability to apply mathematical concepts including ratios, percentages, probability, and basic geometry.
