Production Planner

1. Job Overview

1. Responsible for all activities related to production planning.

2. Key responsibilities and accountabilities:

2.1. Optimize production line capacity to meet demand and plant performance targets

2.2. Evaluating material supply plan and weekly demand to identify gaps in service as to develop a suitable weekly production plan

2.3. Converting into a daily production schedule based on the best balance between the Production Plan and Customer Orders to ensure customer satisfaction and plant efficiency

2.4. Proactively adjust/revise production plan and schedule to cope with materials shortage and overage based on principles and guidelines most effectively

2.5. Ensure all transactions related to planning processes in SAP are performed correctly and timely

2.6. Closely work with the Supply Planner to ensure materials availability to cover production demand and maintain inventory within the target levels and the allowed deviation against the forecast

2.7. Determine the movement of compound/FGs inventory (ABC analysis) to ensure the production plan of each item is in line with monthly PMS and target inventory levels

2.8. Calculate and confirm the deviation factors of material consumptions

2.9. Calculate and confirm the suitable material available date for each item in the order book to satisfy business needs and internal/external customer’s request

2.10. Monitor production orders status, review production performance to ensure timely delivery, flag any backlog quantity, work out the root cause, and solve problems quickly

2.11. Collaborate with the Production team to assist production output adherence to plan/PMS

2.12. Driving daily/weekly meetings with other functions regarding the production issues/technical issues/quality issues, …

2.13. Responsible for equipment changing schedule, co-ordinate with Production and IE in saving change-over

2.14. Constant interaction with the Engineering team regarding equipment status for output controlling

2.15. Responsible for other tasks related to Production planning if any

2.16. Report Management of any irregularities or problems that require assistance

2.17. Complete all necessary records and reports in a timely and accurately

2.18. Other tasks and responsibilities as assigned

2.19. Having the authorities within the assigned function

2.20. Adhere to Company quality systems

2.21. Adhere to Company Safety Rules.

Yêu cầu công việc

- Education: Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Industrial Management, or relevant.

- Experience: 4+ years of working experience. Minimum of 3 years of experience in production planning.
