1. Strategy and Development:

• Assume full responsibility for the enterprise's production operations.

• Develop and implement production visions, strategies, policies, processes, and procedures based on best practices to support and enhance business performance.

• Ensure the establishment of production strategies and processes that meet business objectives and operational requirements (regarding cost, quality, and delivery schedules), enabling the company to operate and compete effectively in the market.

• Hold primary responsibility for policies, guidelines, and documentation related to production operations.

• Initiate and develop innovative and creative production processes.

• Lead, develop, and implement productivity optimization programs linked to variable costs across all areas of responsibility.

• Plan and execute maintenance activities to ensure safety and regulatory compliance for the plant.

• Drive improvements in the reliability of critical machinery and equipment by conducting reliability studies and determining optimal preventive maintenance strategies.

• Collaborate with other departments to select external contractors while ensuring compliance with required standards.

2. People Management:

• Establish strategy and best practices for staff to ensure achievement of overall business objectives. Work with the Manufacturing team to translate site strategy into specific annual performance goals and departmental objectives including KPIs, and to track them

• Ensure strong communication between teams under leadership to facilitate exchange of information and in order to implement change and improvements

• Ensure that the function operates in accordance with any health, safety and environmental policies and procedures to ensure the safety and wellbeing of staff and visitors

3. Financial and Budget Management:

• Input and hold responsibility for manufacturing budgets

• Expenditure proposals as well as ensuring compliance with legal standards.

• University degree in Chemistry, Mechanical Engineering, or Electrical Engineering

• Practical experience leading a production department, including managing strategies, policies, processes, and production systems

• Proven leadership and management skills, with the ability to optimize performance and develop teams

• Excellent communication, relationship-building, and influencing skills

• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities

• Proficiency in English

• Proficiency in SAP software
