Procurement Manager (EU Factory)

Position Summary

The Procurement & Supplier Development Manager is responsible for developing and executing sourcing strategies that ensure competitive cost, quality, innovation, and supply continuity. The role plays a key part in strengthening supplier partnerships and supporting business growth through close collaboration with Engineering, R&D, Operations, Quality, and Supply Chain teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and implement sourcing strategies for materials, components, and services.

• Identify, qualify, develop, and manage strategic suppliers.

• Lead commercial negotiations and drive cost optimization initiatives.

• Monitor supplier performance and implement improvement plans covering quality, delivery, cost, and innovation.

• Support new product development through supplier selection, early supplier involvement, technical sourcing, and supplier readiness activities.

• Mitigate supply risks and ensure business continuity.

• Build strong cross-functional relationships with Engineering, R&D, Operations, Quality, and Supply Chain teams.

• Lead and develop the Procurement team, fostering a culture of accountability, performance, and continuous improvement.

Education

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Economics, or a related discipline.

Experience

• 8+ years of Procurement, Strategic Sourcing, or Supply Chain experience within manufacturing environments.

• 5+ years of leadership experience.

• Proven success in supplier development, strategic sourcing, and supplier relationship management.

• Experience with technical consumer products, advanced materials, engineered components, and manufacturing environments requiring stringent quality, testing, and compliance standards is highly desirable.

• International sourcing experience is a plus.
