Process Engineer Supervisor (Footwear Manufacturing)

We are seeking an experienced Process Engineering Supervisor to lead process engineering activities across manufacturing operations. This role is responsible for driving process stability, production efficiency, product quality, and manufacturing readiness while leading a team of engineers and technicians. The position plays a key role in process optimization, new product introduction, production ramp-up, and continuous improvement initiatives within a footwear manufacturing environment.

Role Responsibilities

• Lead process engineering support for daily production operations to ensure stable and efficient manufacturing performance.

• Coordinate engineering resources and provide technical leadership to resolve major process-related issues.

• Drive process improvement initiatives focused on productivity, yield, quality, efficiency, and waste reduction.

• Analyze production data, identify process improvement opportunities, and monitor implementation effectiveness.

• Lead trial runs, process validation activities, new product introductions, and production ramp-up projects.

• Support factory readiness, commissioning activities, and manufacturing start-up projects.

• Provide hands-on shopfloor support and ensure process standards and operating procedures are consistently followed.

• Coach engineers, supervisors, and operators on process best practices and continuous improvement methodologies.

• Collaborate closely with Production, QA, Maintenance, and cross-functional teams to improve operational performance.

• Lead and develop Process Engineers and Process Technicians through coaching, mentoring, performance management, and capability development.

What You'll Need:

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Polymer Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related discipline.

• 6-10 years of experience in manufacturing, process engineering, or production engineering environments.

• Minimum 2 years of experience leading engineers, technicians, or continuous improvement projects.

• Experience in footwear manufacturing, midsole manufacturing, or related industries is preferred.

• Hands-on experience with Injection, Phylon, EVA foam, polymer foam, or similar manufacturing processes.

• Experience supporting factory setup, commissioning, production transfer, or ramp-up activities.

• Experience leading productivity, process optimization, or continuous improvement projects.

• Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or Continuous Improvement certifications are advantageous.
