QA Supervisor (Footwear Manufacturing)

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced QA Supervisor to lead Quality Assurance activities across manufacturing operations. This role is responsible for ensuring plastic injection products and footwear midsoles consistently meet customer requirements, quality standards, and business objectives through effective quality management, inspection control, customer compliance, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Role Responsibilities:

Lead and supervise daily Quality Assurance activities across manufacturing operations.

Ensure products comply with customer specifications, internal quality standards, and company procedures.

Monitor quality KPIs and drive corrective actions to achieve quality targets.

Oversee inspection processes, sampling plans, and quality control procedures for plastic injection products and footwear midsoles.

Manage final inspections, outgoing quality control (OQC), shipment release, and packing compliance activities.

Support customer audits, internal audits, and quality compliance programs.

Lead investigations into customer complaints and quality issues using Root Cause Analysis and corrective action methodologies.

Drive CAPA implementation, defect reduction, scrap reduction, and continuous improvement projects.

Lead, coach, train, and develop QA Staff and Inspectors to build a high-performing quality team.

Collaborate with Production, Engineering, Supply Chain, and Warehouse teams to improve product quality and operational performance.

What you'll need:

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Polymer Engineering, Quality Management, Footwear Technology, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.

Minimum 5 years of QA/QC experience within a manufacturing environment.

At least 2 years of supervisory or team leadership experience.

Experience in footwear manufacturing, midsole production, or plastic injection molding is strongly preferred.

Previous experience with Nike factories or international footwear brands is highly advantageous.

Experience with quality systems, audits, and customer compliance requirements.

What were looking for?

Strong knowledge of Quality Management Systems (QMS) and manufacturing quality processes.

Hands-on experience with SPC, PFMEA, Control Plans, AQL, CAPA, and Root Cause Analysis methodologies.

Strong understanding of product inspections, final quality control, shipment release, and packing verification processes.

Proven leadership and team development capabilities.

Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

Effective communication and stakeholder management skills across all organizational levels.

Strong commitment to quality excellence, customer satisfaction, and continuous improvement.
