Position: Principal – International Kindergarten

Working Time:

• Working Hours: 08:00 AM - 05:00 PM
• Working Days: Working schedule aligned with school operations (including occasional weekends as required)
• Overtime: Availability for overtime as required by the position's demands.

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Principal to lead a premium international kindergarten located in Sunshine City, Hanoi – a rapidly growing, expatriate-friendly community. This is an opportunity to shape the academic vision and build a high-quality early years environment aligned with international standards.

I.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Operational Leadership:
  • Direct all daily school operations including HR, finance/budgeting, and admissions;
  • Oversee administrative functions, documentation, and record-keeping systems;
  • Monitor key operational data including enrollment, attendance, and performance indicators
• Academic Excellence:
  • Oversee the implementation and quality control of an international early childhood curriculum;
  • Assess program needs and ensure effective curriculum delivery;
  • Lead resolution of student-related issues including behavior, learning challenges, and crisis situations.
• Team Development:
  • Recruit, mentor, and manage a diverse team of local and expatriate educators;
  • Build and lead a high-performing team of local and expatriate educators;
  • Foster a collaborative, professional, and child-centered school culture.
• Growth & Enrollment:
  • Drive brand reputation and student recruitment initiatives to meet growth targets;
  • Plan and coordinate school programs, events, and activities (e.g. field trips, performances, special events) to enhance school visibility and engagement
• Stakeholder Relations: Build strong, trust-based relationships with parents and the local community.

II.CANDIDATE PROFILE

Required Qualifications:

• Experience: 5–7+ years in a leadership role (Principal/Head of School) within an international kindergarten setting.
• Expertise: Deep knowledge of Early Childhood Education (ECE) pedagogy and best practices.
• Proven Track Record: Demonstrated success in managing school operations and improving academic outcomes.
• Open to international candidates; preference for candidates from Canada, the UK, Australia, or Ireland.
• Experience with Quality Assurance, School Reviews or Operational Audits.

Highly Desirable:

• System Experience: Familiarity with the Maple Bear system or similar international franchises.
• Regional Experience: Previous experience working in emerging markets (Asia preferred).
• Networking: An existing network within the international education sector.

• Base Salary: Competitive package: USD 3,000 – 5,000/month (flexible depending on experience and overall package).
