Pricing & Tender Executive

The Pricing and Tendering Executive is a key contributor within the Commercial team, responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates, competitive pricing proposals and high-quality tender/bid submissions for Ben Line Integrated Logistics (BLIL) Vietnam's project logistics, marine agency. This position is required on a fixed-term basis to provide business continuity for the Commercial team, ensuring pricing accuracy, vendor management, tender deadlines and client commitments continue to be met without disruption.

Responsibilities

• Prepare cost estimates, and pricing proposals.

• Review incoming RFQs, RFPs and Invitations to Tender (ITB) from clients across the Oil & Gas, Renewable Energy, Cable, Dredging and Infrastructure sectors, and coordinate the end-to-end tender submission process.

• Liaise closely with Marine Operations, Logistics Operations, vendors and subcontractors to gather accurate costing inputs and lead times ahead of submission deadlines.

• Analyse cost structures, margins and competitor positioning to recommend pricing strategies that balance competitiveness with profitability.

• Compile complete, compliant tender/bid documentation, ensuring commercial, technical and regulatory requirements are addressed prior to submission.

• Track the status and outcome (win/loss) of quotations and tenders, maintaining an up-to-date tracking for reporting to the Head of Commercial.

• Maintain organised records of quotations, pricing history and tender documentation to support audits, negotiations and future bids.

• Doing vendor contract review and negotiation activities in coordination with Commercial, Accounting and Operations as required.

• Ensure all pricing and tender activity complies with Ben Line policies, HSEQ standards and applicable local regulations; hand over all work-in-progress quotations and tenders to the substantive position holder upon their return from leave.

- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Logistics/Supply Chain, Maritime Studies, Engineering or a related field.

- Strong Excel and cost-modelling skills; excellent written and spoken English for client-facing tender documentation;

- Strong attention to detail, negotiation and stakeholder-coordination skills;

- Able to manage multiple deadlines simultaneously.

- Minimum 2-3 years' experience in pricing or cost estimation, ideally within logistics, freight forwarding, marine services.

- Working knowledge of logistics cost structures, marine/vessel services and procurement processes;

- Familiarity with Oil & Gas, Renewable Energy or Infrastructure project logistics is an advantage.

- Detail-oriented, deadline-driven and solution-oriented;

- Performs well under the pressure of tender timelines;

- Collaborative and professional with internal teams, clients and vendors;

- High level of integrity and confidentiality when handling commercial data.
