Mechanical Engineer

Overview

We are looking for a Mechanical Engineer to design, develop, and build robotic mechanisms and products for real industrial applications. This role focuses on mechanical design, prototyping, product integration, and transforming concepts into reliable and manufacturable systems.

You will work hands on with robotic hardware, collaborating closely with electrical, firmware, and manufacturing teams to develop practical robotic products from concept to deployment.

Key Responsibilities

Mechanical Design and Development

• Design and develop mechanical parts and assemblies for robotic applications with a focus on precision, durability, manufacturability, and lightweight construction

• Create 3D models, 2D drawings, BOMs, and technical documentation for production and assembly

• Define tolerances, fits, and mechanical interfaces for reliable product integration

Component Selection and Integration

• Select suitable standard components such as bearings, bushings, gears, motors, fasteners, and materials

• Collaborate closely with electrical and firmware teams during product development and integration

• Support actuator integration, transmission systems, and motion mechanisms

Prototyping and Testing

• Build prototypes and conduct mechanical testing and validation

• Troubleshoot mechanical issues and improve product reliability

• Work with rapid prototyping methods, machining, and fabrication processes

• Support iterative development through hands on experimentation and testing

Manufacturing and Assembly Support

• Support manufacturing, assembly, and quality control processes

• Work with suppliers and fabrication partners when needed

• Improve manufacturability and assembly efficiency through practical engineering decisions

• Maintain clear engineering documentation and revision control

Yêu cầu công việc

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Robotics, or related fields

• Proficiency with CAD software, preferably SolidWorks

• Ability to create detailed 2D drawings, 3D models, and define tolerances for mechanical parts

• Understanding of mechanical design principles and manufacturing processes

• Hands on experience with rapid prototyping, machining, and mechanical assembly

• Familiarity with materials, bearings, gears, and structural design

• Good problem solving skills and attention to detail

• Comfortable working directly with hardware and physical systems

• Comfortable working in fast moving environments with evolving requirements

• Able to take ownership and turn ideas into working systems
