Material Planning Manager

MATERIAL PLANNING
• Forecast 12 months for Lumber, Hardware and subcon demand, Analysis Buy to Stock and Buy to Order to optimize purchase price index
• Clarify and improve Material Planning process for each material categories
• Utilize current MRP to manage material planning from Procurement, Warehouse and Production efficiency
• Resolve material shortage
• Decide volume for long lead time material order
• Define safety stock level for each material categories
• Schedule for ordering point of materials then working with procurement for purchase request accuracy
• Corporate with internal and external team to build business process and ERP system
• Accountable for NPI material readiness
PEOPLE DEVELOPMENT

• Manage and report on the performance of Material Planning;
• Coaching and Career Development
• Ensure development of careers for team
Bachelor's degree in supply chain, Operations, Business Administration, or related field.
Fluent in English.
Advanced Excel, MS D365, ERP systems.
3+ years in production/supply planning; furniture industry experience is a plus.
Planning & forecasting.
Problem solving & risk management.
