Logistics Engineer work with internal logistics team to implement, follow, and improve processes taking into consideration HSE recommendations and the operation efficiency. Additionally, work with LVHA’s supplier network to determine standard pack and dimensions of packaging for new processes according to LVHA needs.

You’ll have the opportunity to:

Process Design & Continuous Improvement

- Responsible of process creation and optimization in the logistics department

- Develop and implement continuous improvement projects

- Work with multidisciplinary team to detect issues, solve and/or implement changes

Operations Support & Issue Resolution

- Provide support for day-to-day issues that create turbulence in the materials delivery processes

Capacity & Resource Planning

- Calculate and monitor impact of production/process changes on logistics resources, including warehouse capacity, mobile equipment, IT devices, labor capacity, and delivery routes.

Packaging Optimization

- Follow disposable and returnable packaging needs

- Propose and design cost-saving projects based on returnable packaging

Master Data & System Integrity

- Ensure all part numbers are codified correctly on SAP master data

- Change part numbers internal logistics strategy

- Manage Kanban strategy on SAP ECC

Project Integration (NPD/NPI/ECN)

- Participate in and follow up on ECN, NPD, and NPI processes and projects to ensure timely and effective logistics integration.

Quality, Safety & Compliance

- Participate in ISO certification related activities, including the creation, maintenance, and update of process documentation, as well as support for internal and external audits.

- Performs activities related to HSE (preventive, corrective, ergonomic, etc.)

What you will bring:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering and/or Logistics, Industrial Management

Experience: Minimum 2-3 years in relevant experience.
